My telephone number no longer shows up on my keypad screen

Is it just me, or is this a new glitch? I seem to remember that my iphone's number was always displayed above the keypad when I wanted to call someone, but it's no longer there. I have a terrible memory for numbers, so this is one feature I needed to use quite a bit. Now if I need to tell someone my number, I need to go to my contacts screen or the settings screen.

What's the story?
