Hey guys, what's up?
Here's another ''my thoughts on iOS 6'' thread.
To be honest, Apple hasn't add a lot of new major stuff like we've seen in iOS 4 (multitasking, folders) and iOS 5 (notification center, iMessage). But, they did add so much minor features or improvements that I can say that I really love this update, despite the lack of really new important feature. Just think about Do Not Disturb, Siri's new languages (french Canadian for me) and functions like opening apps, FaceTime via cellular, redesigned stores, privacy settings, redesigned Music app, Safari performance boost and all the others improvements... They really worth the wait and will make iOS a better OS and by the way a more pleasant OS to use.
For the Maps, I think that these are great but Apple will need to work a lot to gain the success they want. I am totally with them in the decision they took to replace Google Maps by a Map system from themselves. What is great about the fact that they own the Maps app is that they will be able to improve it without needing Google's support. I can easily see Apple improving the Maps app in iOS 6.X, 7.
So, anything to say?
