After two weeks and two days of owning one all I can say is... I fu(k1n$ love this thing! Yea it has some issues but wow, it is easily the best phone out there. Now I know that is a matter of opinion but I am no fanboy and have owned an Android phone before. Again, the issues that it has is not enough to make me want to return it or sell it. I'm not going to list the issues and I am not going to list the reasons why I think this phone is the best, we all know them very well by now. For those of you who are that disappointed or pissed off then get rid of it. No one is holding a gun to your head to keep it. Go back to your old phone or try Android out and see if you like that. For the rest of you, I hope you feel the same. Feel free to post your thoughts as well and for those trolls and flamewar specialists, just back off please and let's keep this a positive thread. Thanks for your time guys. :)

Same here. My original iPhone and 3GS went naked and that was my intent with the i4. The antenna issues though forced me to go the case route and I found that I actually liked the bumpers and am having fun searching for the perfect case. Aesthetics aside, it is a monster of a smartphone and I find myself on my i4 more than my actual computers. It is an awesome device. Really, really happy with it.

Feelings mutual, nice that someone actually comes here to post the good things. The problems with forums are that most of the people only come to lurk or to complain. It skews the overall perception of the device. Within a forum glance you'd think that 70 percent of the users were having problems whereas in reality it's only like .7 percent actually experiencing real issues, or worse yet dropped and broke their phone.

I never cared about a phone being anything more than a phone until i tried the iPhone. (1st gen) and since then, i'm spoiled, and no other phone can come close. Tried playing with other phones, and to be honest, they all suck horribly compared to the iPhone. Going from an iPhone to an Android phone is like going from a 360/PS3 to an Atari. Not even close.

why would you not have a case on it? it's made of glass.. I thought you said you liked it, don't you want it to last for a while?

it's so rediculous fast compared to my 3g, i always look away from it expecting to wait for something to load then I realize it already did, and the retina display is gorgeous, and the apps are really what makes it

Gotta agree. I love the thing, as I loved the 3G and 3GS before it. Before that I had a measly first gen iPod Touch.

Reading comprehension fail.

This thing is awesome. I had a 3G before and would not even take the time to post on forums from the phone itself because it was to slow and would crash all the time. Now I'm sending this post through my ip4 and love how smooth everything works.

The only thing I'm not liking with my phone is the low light quality I'm getting with pics but that is the norm with any camera phone.

Just my 2 cents.

Funny, I've owned 3 iPhones since the 2G came out, no cases, plenty of drops, and all are in excellent condition. If you want a case, fine, just don't put your paranoia on me.

I love my iPhone 4 so much that I am willing to sell my Nokia N82 and first gen iPod touch on Craigslist. I thought they were untouchable to ever sell when I first got them. I thought Nokia made a "complete" phone. Back in 2008, I honestly believed Nokia made a phone that would endure beyond two years. Boy, was I wrong! The batt life and OS sucks on this thing. I also have a jailbroken iPod touch and it is a pain to surf on the web. Crash after crash. Daily reboots is a norm. The iPhone 4 has spoiled me so much that I can't even go back to those other devices because they are so unbearable to use now. iP4 makes 3-year old gadgets look prehistoric overnight. I was one of those few who wasn't completely blown away by the Retina display when I first saw it. After my eyes have gotten used to it, I can now see the obvious differences when I go back to the iPod touch. If I still had the original iPhone, I would feel the same way. I just don't want to go back to them. I would rather have a Nexus One than a first gen iPod touch or 2G iPhone. That 2G iPhone did have build quality that was arguably the most durable among iPhones, but the hardware was always lacking.

#4 is one of my lucky numbers because my birthday falls on that number. So far, iPhone 4 has been good to me too. Love it. Fast, improved, refined...

Love the iP4! I can't stop playing with this little beauty. I'm obsessed with the camera and always taking a bunch of pictures. The front facing camera is just amazing. I have the Incredibooth and Pudding Camera apps and I can't stop using it. Plus the springboard is just too friggin gorgeous for words. Aaagh!

I REALLY want a case, but waiting for the Tech21 iBand. 3 more weeks! I have my baby in a pouch and trying my best to be careful. Might just slip it inside a bigger pouch to be safe.

Glad you are loving yours, OnNightFall. The iPhone 4 is just too friggin incredible!! And best of luck to those waiting on the white one, it's going to be worth it! Lucky you guys for having all the patience. Best of luck, future white iP4 owners! :3 You're going to love it. :D

Ah again this thread is a breath of fresh air, actually minus any haters. Someone mentioned that they've played around on other phones and Androids and simply didn't get it/and or like it. I feel the same way. I have family and friends on Verizon who really wanted an iPhone but settled, and I mean settled on an Android device. I always ask to play around with their phone just see how it works. I have to tell you, I wouldn't want grandma or grandpa to have to get one of those. They interface is slow and clunky, and the touch screen responsiveness on any of them is just not very fluid. On the iPhone sliding apps across the screen is seamless and smooth, the Androids have a weird jerkyness or bad framerate issues. Plus I could never find anything on those things. The icons remind me of Windows 3.1. The last thing I've noticed about the Droids is they are ugly as I'll get out. Granted this isn't really important, but when you can have both beauty and brains wouldn't you want it?

I am very happy with the direction this thread is going. It has all been positive and that's the whole point of this thread. Thank you all for posting and I hope to see much more. My intention is not to convince anyone to get this phone but just to bring a positive perspective to the very negative sea of complaints. When I wrote the opening post I just had this rush of inspiration because I kept seeing negative threads and yet I would catch myself saying "man… I love this phone" like two or three times a day. I agree with fender57, I also catch myself more on my phone now than on my computer. I also agree with cecoleman, if you look at the threads on the forums it makes the iphone 4 look like an unusable piece of $h1t which is hardly the case. I myself have a case and plan on getting a better case with more protection soon. But those that want to keep it naked, rock it like you stole it lol. I agree with Savor, picking up an iphone 3G makes me feel like I just got on a 5 year old computer. So much slower. Oh and to clarify, Android phones are super cool and if the iphone did not exist I would have one but it does so yea. Thanks littleluna and well said cecoleman. Keep them coming guys… :)

Posting about how you "fu(k1n$ love this thing!" makes you a fanboy

Why deny:rolleyes:

This thread sucks monkey balls

I'm sick of all you fanboys and girls posting how great your iP4s are. Mine hasn't been shipped yet so I can't join in. Please be more considerate of people like me in your future posts. ;)

Mine is coming in a few days, From all reports it seems like a splendid browser, however for me it needs to as Splendid a Phone also, and hold a blutooth signal.

I'm not looking for a touch at the moment.

I just got mine today, upgrading from an original iphone.. the speaker quality BLOWS the original out of the water. The original is quiet and distorted, the ip4 speaker is SO much louder and sounds very clear. The screen is gorgeous too, I can clearly read the text on web pages without zooming in.. so awesome.

Well you're in for a shock because its a splendid phone too.

The minute Fring allowed iPhones to make 3G video calls, their servers exploded. Seems like people aren't having reception problems (me included).
