I’ve spent 11 days with the 15P. I upgraded from the 13P. For what it’s worth, I have some thoughts about little things that made it a worthwhile upgrade in my daily life-

Number 1 is the weight, and size. I remember when I went from the iPhone 7 to the XR, it took me a while to get used to the size and weight. Then when I went from the XR to the 13P, I had a few weeks where I was stressing about the weight. I tried 3-5 cases. I get outside a lot of hikes, bike rides, and regular dog walks. The weight on the 13P was noticeable. So, when I went to the 15P it was a welcome change back to a tad lighter and smaller. Nicer in the pocket.

Number 2 is the Always on Display and screen brightness. My first phone with AOD. I’ve enjoyed it. Simple things like having it on in the car so all I have to do is look down to the MagSafe stand and see what music is playing, maps, and time of course. I don’t have CarPlay. Yeah, I have an Ultra, but the larger screen real estate is nice. I have it sitting on a stand at work and always on. Cool to see text messages remain there. And I’ve replaced my Alexa Show with the phone by my bedstand. Also noticeable is the screen brightness. It’s that much brighter in the sun, outside, or in the car. It’s like the Ultra and so much easier to see - in my older age :)

Number 3 is USB-C. I’ve hooked up some dongles and attached my external hard drives. So beneficial to have that option on my phone. Also, worthwhile to have ability to charge my AirPod case in a pinch.

Number 4 is the dynamic island and smaller bezels. Now that the notch is gone, it looks so much cleaner. Using a screen protector looks much better and now lint, dust, etc. doesn’t get stuck in the notch. Also, I’m enjoying the benefits of the dynamic island to get back to music, directions, etc.

Number 5 is the find your friends. My wife got the 15. So now it's easier to find her in a big store, etc, with the arrow and exact directions.

Number 6 is the active noise cancelling when on a phone call. This is like magic talking to someone when outside with noise all around.

I haven’t even gotten into the camera. Going on a trip this weekend and looking forward to using it.

Yeah, battery life can be better. I’ve been limiting it to 80 percent so that’s been a factor. And the AOD I guess. Also, I’ve been rocking a case all the time because I’m worried about scratches. Jury is still out, but it seems the 13P is more durable.. Anyway, I got the blue and it’s beautiful. The 13P was a fine device, but I’m not looking back.
