iPhone 11 Pro My thoughts on the 11 Pros

I know, I know. Who asked me, right? But there really no thread to just add my thoughts to, so I thought I’d make my own. I checked out the 11 Pros in person yesterday and here’s what I thought:
  • The gold is insanely gorgeous and probably my favorite color. The frosted glass really elevates the elegance of every color though.
  • The camera design is actually starting to look good to me, sigh. It helps that Apple has such attention to detail and elegance in their execution.
  • The 11 Pro is so much more comfortable and enjoyable to use in the hand. I always feel tempted to switch to the smaller size when I hold one. I have a history of missing the larger screens and larger batteries over time though, so I’m scared to ever switch to a small size again.
  • The screens are noticeably brighter compared to my XS Max. It was definitely better to view in bright lights.
That’s all. I’d be tempted to upgrade this year if resale values weren’t currently so bad. I’d be paying around $550 for one year of use with my XS Max if I sold it which is just insane and unreasonable.
 
Nice to see the gold getting some love! I have silver and I keep seeing posts about green and grey, but gold doesn't seem as as big this year. I hope it does remain popular though so that they keep it as an option.
