I am just bored and wanted to open a discussion about this. I am pretty sure that Apple will have an event this month, and one of its contents will be about Macbook devices. I mean, if they do not reveal at least a spec bump, their newest Macbook besides 12 inch model will be the 15 inch rMBP with Force Touch, that STILL features a Haswell processor.

What I have in my mind is, the new Macbook Pro 13 inch will have a revamped Air case with Retina display and much smaller footprint. Maybe it will be called just the Macbook Air, and will replace the 13 inch Macbook Pro. The old 11 or 13 inch Air will still be on the sale to offer a relatively inexpensive experience of macOS. The Pro tag will be only for the 15 inch model if this happens. Another idea is, they will kill the Air line for good, since they were originally released to be the lightest laptop, but now they gave it to the Macbook Retina. Whichever they do, the new Macbooks will get the "new" Skylake processors with Iris graphics. Ram will probably be the same DDR3L RAMs. That OLED panel appeared on the leaks is probably true and will come this October. I don't think Apple will put Touch ID to the Macbooks because it will not look aesthetic. They will have 2 USB 3 ports, a headphone jack (I don't think they will remove it just because it will require them to put a Lightning connector, which will still occupy a space), MagSafe 2 or 3 power connector and 2 USB-C ports with Thunderbolt 3 support. The keyboard may receive the new Butterfly mechanism, but with more travel (still, probably will be shorter than now because of its firm clicking feel). Lastly, all the new Macbooks will have the 4 color option that the rMB 12 offers, and will still have the glowing Apple logo.

These are my thoughts, which are pretty guess-able, nobody even asked for them, so here you go. Maybe the "Should I wait" topics will end now.
