I just want to give some feedback.
1. The design is a lot better in real life, I get what they were going for, by having that bump in the middle it makes the case look a lot smaller from most angles. However I do have to wonder why they don't just make a 500mah case without that bump? Anything extra is better than nothing.
2. The top is rather flimsy, it flaps around as you swipe your finger side to side.... this sucks!
3. The lightning port at the bottom sits at a gunny angle, usually where I rest my little finger... it's rather uncomfortable.
4. The 3.5mm jack is just a hole, you cannot fit headphones in there....
5. It does not improve signal like I've seen reported on quite a few sites, in fact it's made my bluetooth signal even worse than how bad it already is on this phone.
6. It ruins the quality of the speaker, it sounds much more distorted; I haven't tested the mic.
7. The material just acts as a magnet for all the fluff in your pocket, I'm finding so much **** stuck to it every time I pull it out.
8. You cannot turn off the charge, I dunno if this is bad for your iPhone? I dunno if it's bad for the battery in the case when it sits at 0 for a long time? It's rather odd that you cannot control it.
9. It drains fast, about twice as fast as the internal battery.... I dunno why?
10. It weighs a **** ton.
11. it doesn't ruin the Flash.
12. Why on earth do we have to have a giant chin at the bottom? I've seen third party cases where it's almost flush because they have a lightning connector on like a ribbon cable to add no thickness... why can't Apple do this?
I know the cliche "it doesn't feel like Apple" comment, but that has been thrown a lot around lately. I dunno what is going on with Apple's design team but they've been on a fail streak for quite some time. The Hump doesn't bother me, I think it's fine and the case is a lot smaller than the competition.. It's just not well thought out.
It's fine, it works, but it isn't anything revolutionary, it's just what we already have and fails to improve upon the many issues battery cases have.
