Attended a Today at Apple session in Belfast on Sunday, showing how to use Apple Pencil + iPad Pro + Procreate. I've owned the app for years (since iPad 2 days) and messed about with it, but never into art or anything too demanding. My first session since last year when I went to a Numbers session, which wasn't so useful!

I learnt some practical ways of using Procreate to actually achieve a task and some tapping shortcuts I didn't know existed. It was more engaging than following a YouTube tutorial or book and it was generally nice hanging out in the Apple Store as opposed to taking a quick look amongst a crowd and back out again.

I first went to a workshop about ten years ago when I was 13 in the Liverpool store, where I used GarageBand and the Apple staff burned us CDs of what we made. Good to see they're equally as fun as an adult! Just hard to know which ones are for kids only and for adults. I enjoyed it though. My gf, whose not into technology as much also enjoyed it and I think it's a good way of getting non-tech friends and family engaged in Apple technology too.

What are your experiences with recent Today at Apple sessions? And what do you recommend for my next one?
