Hi, I have a problem! Any help is much appreciate.

So I recently got an iPhone, figured I would sell my Touch as I didn't need it anymore. I went into the settings to erase all my data as I didn't want someone getting hold of contact information etc and that went fine.

After that I plugged it into my computer to restore the firmware and itunes seems to just get stuck doing it. The bar on the ipod fills up and itunes just keeps showing the little bar saying "restoring ipod software".

I have tried it three times now, including putting it into DFU mode, I even left it all day whilst I was at work and it still didn't complete.

I even tried deleting the firmware file on my computer incase that had been corrupted and got itunes to redownload it.

I am using the latest version of itunes.

Please help, I can't believe I might have bricked it

Thank you!
