I left it overnight and it says it is still syncing contacts. It appears that my contacts were in fact synced but not my calendar. Could it take that long to finish or is it not working?

It also worked when I synced my Things app with my desktop.

Any ideas?

r u using a mac or a pc

Tried to restore settings, then just synced my calendar to see if it works. It just stays on "Sync in Progress" and never finishes.

What can I do?

Try reseting the device sync history in iSync on your MacBook. It's under preferences on iSync.

I had a trial of MobileMe that I canceled, there is nothing listed under registered computers and reset sync data is grayed out. Maybe that is messing it up somehow?

No, iSync is an application on your MacBook. Open it, go to preferences, click on Reset Sync History.

I'm not referring to MobileMe sync.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPod; U; CPU iPhone OS 2_1_1 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/525.18.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.1.1 Mobile/5F138 Safari/525.20)

When it happened to me I merely cancelled the sync and then reconnected, havent had the problem since. Perhaps try a restore or disable syncing calendars, sync, then enable it again.

Thanks, that worked!

I didn't even know what iSync was.
