My USB-C Charge Cable on my Touchbar MBP keeps getting twisted around itself.

Because part of the cable is twisted around itself, I have effectively a much shorter cable, and every few days, the cord flies out of the port when I move my MBP (ending up on the ground).

Has anyone else had this problem? Have you found an alternate cable that doesn't do this?

thanks! :)

All cables have a natural curl to them... when you loop it up, give the cable a bit of a twist into the loop to keep it neat... but with that said, I also have a couple of these that are braided and don't really seem to twist up too badly... YMMV

Thanks for your reply. I never had this problem with my previous MacBooks with the MagSafe charger. Thanks for suggesting the CableCreation cable, but am I correct that it does not have a plastic outer layer? I'd prefer to use cables with a nonporous outer layer (easier to clean).

No, it's a woven cutter layer on the cable.
