Hi everyone need some advice. I have not gotten the iphone yet(Will be getting the iphone 13 256GB) its my very first iphone..just not sure what kind of case is recommended that will work with magsafe wireless charging. Ive seen many clear cases on amazon that say they are compatible with wireless charging I assume that means ALL magsafe chargers as well. As far as the magsafe charger, I saw the belkin 3 in 1 online(But boy is it expensive 150 bucks) Im also going to get eventually the apple watch series 7 and the airpods when they come out so figure mind as well get a charging station for all three just not sure if its even compatible with the iphone 13. I figure wireless charging is better than having to always plug it in that could become damaged
Thanks so much appreciate it!!

Well, we have some MagSafe/wireless charging haters on the forum that I'm sure will chime in and give you grief, but take that with a grain of salt. I've been using MagSafe with my iPhone 12 Pro since April and have been thrilled with it - no issues whatsoever and no effect on my battery health (still shows 100%) - and it IS fast, despite what people who don't even use MagSafe will try to tell you. And of course it's also more convenient. For me, it has nothing to do with concern about damaging or wearing out the lightning port. That was never an issue for me on all my previous iPhones before wireless charging became a thing.

As for cases, why not try Apple's offerings for MagSafe cases?

I've been using the Apple leather MagSafe with mine and it works and feels great!

If you're not planning on using MagSafe, and instead simply want to use Qi charging, then any thinner case should do. I've used Spigen in the past without issue. I've also used some cheaper off-brand cases on Amazon without issue. Just be sure the description states it is compatible with wireless charging.

Yes, the Belkin 3-in-1 is pricey, but you get what you pay for and that will be so worth if for you if you plan to buy iPhone + Apple Watch + AirPods like you said. I wouldn't cheap out on anything to do with charging your devices. Cases you can usually get away with cheaping out on.

For me I just figure wireless charging is better..doesnt have to be magsafe but that is the only wireless charging that is compatible with the iphone? For me its a concern about ruining the port, Ive done that before with other phones Ive had so figure mind as well go wireless charging for a change
I saw this case on amazon

it says its compatible with "Wireless charging" but do they also mean the belkin 3 and 1 charger? Not even sure if that is a good charger I just figure it will charge the phone, watch and airpods so why not

Oops, just realized your OP was referring to the MagSafe Belkin 3-in-1, not the non-MagSafe version. Just to confirm, this IS the one you had in mind, right?

If so, then I'd definitely invest in a case that was compatible with MagSafe (i.e. has a ring of magnets built into the case). I'd suggest simply going with one of Apple's MagSafe cases (either clear, silicone, or leather).

Also, no, you can charge the iPhone 13 with ANY wireless charger, not just MagSafe. But why not just go with MagSafe? That magnet grip feeling is very satisfying ;)

Yeah that's the charger I was talking about..I figure since I will be getting the apple watch series 7 and the airpods once they both come out, mind as well have something that can charge all three instead of buying separate chargers..Ive never felt an apple magsafe case before so no clue how it feels..is the belkin charger compatible with the iphone 13? What other chargers besides this belkin one do you recommend, doeset have to be magsafe just something wireless that is good and compatible

Like I said, you might as well take advantage of MagSafe, so I'd go with the MagSafe version of Belkin's 3-in-1 charger. You can find the non-MagSafe version of that charger on Amazon for cheaper if you want to save a few bucks, but I don't really see the point if you're already spending all this money on the hardware. And like I said, I've never owned AirPods, so I don't have any experience with 3-in-1 chargers. Sorry. I just use the regular MagSafe charger with mine mounted in a third party desktop holder.

And I was referring to the feeling the pull/grip of the magnets when you attach a MagSafe-equipped iPhone to a MagSafe charger, though the Apple leather MagSafe case does feel nice 😄 Sometimes with regular Qi charging (just a pad you set the phone down on with no magnets), your phone won't charge unless aligned properly and is also susceptible to being bumped off center - MagSafe eliminates that and gives you positive feedback of a proper connection.

I was reading some of the reviews of the belkin 3 and 1 and they are a lil iffy..I guess everyone has their opinion some like it better than others..with the magsafe charger the one from apple you have to buy another plug for it to make it work? basically have to find a case that has that circle thing on the back so it will be compatible with magsafe..something like this for instance

again sorry for all the questions I Really really appreciate it

Yes, that case should work fine with MagSafe. The other end of the MagSafe charger is a USB-C connector. Apple recommends paring it with their 20W adapter for best results). But you can plug it into a variety of adapters:

The Belkin MagSafe 3-in-1 has an average 4.5 stars and almost 900 review on Amazon. I'd say that's pretty good. Trust me, for nearly every great product I've purchased over the years, there will always be a handful of reviewers who say it's a piece of junk, LOL! Sometimes they may have gotten a bum unit, and other times the problem is them (expecting the product to do more than it's supposed to, abusing it, not using it correctly, etc.) As long as the product has a large number of reviews and the average is 4-5 stars, I feel pretty confident.

As long as it's USB-C, it will work. If it's less than 20W, though, it won't charge as fast.

Correct, MagSafe charger not included, but it would still be cheaper overall.

Highly recommend Apple’s leather MagSafe case. It’s always the case I end up using long term and there’s been a massive jump in quality compared to last year’s variant.

Their silicone is nice too.

Unfortunately not too many reviews on it..will probably end up going with the belkin one seems more practical even though its expensive..if I were not getting any airpods or apple watch I dont think Id bother getting it but since I am it makes sense to have something that can charge all three
