I write a monthly tech column and I posted something on my publisher's blog today. It's meant for humorous effect (and for me to vent a tad) not really to trash Apple so please no flames. Enjoy. :)

My very special evening with Leopard.

My favorite part:

True to Apple form, it couldn’t just be any old run-of-the-mill install failure. It had to be the Best Install Failure Humanity Has Ever Seen. An Insanely Great Install Failure. The Install Failure to Leave All Other Install Failures in the Dust. And it was. As I attempted to restart, I discovered that the Leopard installer had done to my G5 what Nurse Ratched had done to Randall McMurphy at the end of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.

Wow that sucks. Well-worded article though.

But really, what you experienced isn't nearly a typical experience when upgrading to Leopard.

You could have mentioned that as an aside... although maybe I'm somewhat of an apologist...
