My warcraft 3 expansion frozen throne crashes on start

I Am trying to pllay warcraft 3: frozen throne but its not working. I installed it and i start up frozen throne and it crashes before I start. This type of crash usually occurs when imdoing too much on my computer but i no my computer can take it because i played it before. Shortly after it broke. help!!!!!!!!!!!! wc3:reign of terror works fine and I als play starcraft broodwars and that works fine too.

Does it pop up any message?
What does the crash log say?

My Recommendation:

Uninstall The Frozen Throne. Log into the Blizzard Store and make an account. There will be an option to register your games by linking your CD-Keys with your account. Once this is done, you can download a client to install the game. These are full downloads and don't require a CD to play. They have all the patches and updates. This works great for me.

Give it a shot.

I'm guessing you just recently updated to the 1.22a patch? If you don't have the bandwidth to redownload the game, you could always reinstall the game and if you follow this link: https://forums.macrumors.com/showthre...uld+-be+opened and start at post #11 it should resolve your problem.

Basically, you reinstall the game (both reign of chaos and TFT), install the 1.21b patch, and then the 1.22a patch and you'll be golden.
