Since I have a MBP, my iPT only keeps a Wifi connection in Bootcamp XP with my Powerbook joined into the Wifi signal to keep my iPT connected, otherwise the signal will drop and reconnect over and over. Seems like the iPT can't keep connected with the Wifi shared signal from my MBP without the Powerbook to help keep th signal alive for the iPT. The iPT simply will not use a wifi signal shared from my Sprint EX720 Expresscard in OSX, so I must use Bootcamp XP. Anyway the iJailbreakme.com did work from the wireless signal in Windows XP but no iPhone Apps like weather, Google Maps, etc.
Now the Powerbook will not connect to the iPT because I only have OSX 10.3.9 and I cannot download the iPT compatable version of iTunes with that.
I figured I would connect the iPT to the Powerbook and use the downloaded zip file ijailbreak0.3fixed.zip because there is an option to download iPhone apps there, meanwhile the iPT would be getting the wifi signal from the MBP in Bootcamp XP to do the terminal-bash thing.
It worked out fine. To sum things up
1. I used this method and got jailbroken, but was without iPhone apps:

2. I needed to be physically connected to my Powerbook and have Wifi from the MBP for the iPT in order to use the iPhone Apps option with iJailbreak0.3fixed.zip downloaded file. I did not need iTunes kicking in and fortunately the version on the Powerbook would not even recognize the iPT, and iTunes was not needed at all for this step. Sp in this step the iPT was hooked up to the Powerbook and received Wifi from the MacBook Pro.
I figured there are some newbies out there who are still trying to figure how to get the iPhone apps. Well in my case I needed a WIFI signal for my IPT in both steps. I needed to be hooked up to a laptop in the second step.
