My wireless router don't like my 4s

On my laptop or wired computer, I get 10 mbit on speedtest.net, my ip4 will get around 8 mbit, but my 4s usually get 0.5 mbit, I am using an old linksys WRT54G ver6 router, should I update it to an N router? Why the speed difference between the 4 and the 4s? On AT&T 3g, I usually get around 3 to 4 mbit.

I haven't compared speed at all, but my 4S has been problematic with my old b/g router. I've had to restart it multiple times a day. Updating the router seems to be the best solution, which I hope to do in the near future.

Just updated the SPEEDTEST.NET app and the speed on my ip4s is identical to the rest of my computer.
