Anyone else waste 99 cents on this useless app like I just did? #burned

What did their support have to say? Good to know before I spend my money on this too. Thanks for the heads up.

Doesn't do anything; I say "turn wifi off" and Siri replies with, "I'm sorry Rob but i cannot find any wifi hotspots".

----------

It does nothing. No actions; appears that the normal Siri is in control.

Apparently an update just posted for v 1.0.1. Try upgrading and let us know how it goes.

installed MyAssistant v1.01 and it works a little bit, but nowhere near an acceptable usable level for me. It doesn't understand "turn wifi on" or "turn wifi off", which is the main reason why I wanted the tweak in the first place. Turning BT on and off does work well, however but that's about it. Doesn't launch apps as described in a clean, seamless manner. Promising tweak but it needs work. Uninstalled and refund requested.

I figured out (at least one issue) that you MUST spell the desired application (that you want to control) EXACTLY how it is spelled on your iPhone.

For example, for the wifi toggle

Turn on Wi-Fi

In other words, not "Wifi", "WiFi" but "Wi-Fi", because that is how the Wi-Fi program is spelled on your iPhone.

The same holds true for all.

Still has issues. For example, I have the toggles set for volume EXACTLY like this:

Volume up
Volume down

Siri understands the Volume up command and raises the volume by one point. Siri does not understand the Volume down command and says, "Sorry, I don't understand 'Volume down'.

Program needs work. It's a great idea, but the programer needs to have someone with a little more experience step in and polish it off.

Nice try.

1.01 just hit Cydia

lol, yeah you're late to the party but thx anyway.

Siri Toggles seems to work perfectly for me. I';m sticking with that for now. MYAssistant is an embarrassment of a tweak. Stay away from it and hopefully I'll be able to get a refund.

I gave up and went back to SiriToggles also. It's really too bad that someone can't combine the best of both apps. What finally did it for me was that when in the car using Bluetooth, I said, "call John smith".. It said "calling John smith", but then it would leave the Bluetooth mic open and never actually make the call. It would just sit there with an open Bluetooth mic until I cancelled the call. Oh well.

I liked the fact that you could use it for things like resprings, reboot and power off, etc. is there any other siri app I can combine with SiriToggles to get that functionality also?
