Okie dokie, for some reason yesterday at all. It's fine with Firefox so I dont get why it's playing up. I'm getting all this crap once I try sign in on Safari, which I prefer to use over FF.

Quote:
Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Any idea as to whats up with it?

Thanks

Alex

Well it is MySpace...it has problems all the time. You could just try a restart, or perhaps just waiting a few hours. The website is extremely tempermental in my experience.

Myspace is a messed up website. it functions more akin to some ad hoc project designed by a 12 year old than a professional web designer.

Yes, we all know MySpace sucks. There have been threads about it before. Post the rants in there.

You might want to try and reset Safari in the menu. Granted you'll lose all the cookies and crap, but that might work. It worked for me before.

Yeah...I've had tons of problems with Myspace in Safari and Firefox...mainly because everyone loads their page with multiple templates and videos and songs...it just looks like a mess.

I'm trying out virb.com for that reason, because it seems to allow customization and also lets the viewer remove that customization and just view the unstylized page if they have problems with the custom one.

I'm having this exact problem, and it's only Safari for me as well.

But I tried it on a different Mac, and it worked just fine with Safari. :confused:

And the problem came from nowhere!!! :confused:

Can someone help... even if you hate MySpace? ... Please? :)

Same Problem

Hi, I've got the same problem as is mentioned above. MAy sound like a stupid question but how do you delete Myspace cookies??

Cheers!

If you are using Safari, open Safari > Preferences > Security...click show Cookies, then scroll through the list looking for .myspace, select them and hit the remove button.

Do you remove all the .myspace things? Won't that change how myspace works?

My college campus has wireless internet. I thought it was in all the classrooms, but when I tried myspace it popped up that error. But when I went to the school library it worked. Does that make a difference?

i have a problem when i try to view any profile on myspace, the images don't appear and most of the times audio doesnt load, any idea what i can do about this issue?
