Myst on the iPad?

Has anyone heard any rumors of this, seeing as how, you know, this is MacRumors.com? I bet that game would kick ass on the iPad.

Yeah, an iPad specific version would be great as the upscaled iPhone version lacks immersion somewhat.

Or the original PC version. I don't think Myst had this kind of resolution (nor did PCs generally operate in it) until they re-released an upgraded version of the original.

They've been working on an iPhone version of Riven for a while now, it's due out sometime in the next couple of months. Hopefully the resolution will be high enough for the iPad too. I'm really looking forward to it.

Presumably iOS versions of any others in the series will depend on sales of Riven.

Riven for the iPhone/iTouch is coming along quite well and is looking like early fall. Riven HD for iPad is planned for sometime after that.

Myst and riven for ipad

Why are they not developing these games with the iPad in mind? Is there any rumors about if they are working on it. Unfortunately I won't buy until they do
