My co-worker has an Ipod touch, she loaned it to someone & when she got it back, all her songs were deleted, when she asked the person the only thing they said was that they put it under their pillow, the do not have a computer, how could the songs have been deleted?

Please help.

The person she loaned it to sounds a bit dodgy. There is no way to delete songs when the computer isn't connected to a computer. The only things that can be removed, on-the-fly are applications, and of course rented movies/shows which are automatically removed once the timer expires. Without a computer in play, I haven't heard of any content disappearing completely off an iPod touch.

Under settings -> general -> there is an option to delete all data. This is done on- the-fly. Assuming he did that, you would not see any music, apps, or any thing on the iPod. Other than, the poster above me is correct. No other way of doing so without a computer.
