Mysterious shut downs?

My 2ghz core 2 duo blackbook has been shutting off mysteriously while browsing with ample charge. Anyone else have this issue? Ive noticed after restart sometimes there is an apple update waiting for me? Input? Thank you

I take it that you are running on battery power only. If so, I have a similar problem. Things are fine until I get to about 40% battery life left, then the Macbook just shuts down. No low power warning, just dead.
