I don't know... Maybe this is old news, but...

My new MacBook Pro Retina puts itself in sleep mode (not closed) the second you place it on top of another MacBook (closed and already in sleep mode lying on the table). My mb appears to be dead. Nothing works.
As soon as I move my mb, or the mb under it, it wakes up again. :confused::confused:

A mystery to me, but probably a simple explanation.

Ideas!?
 
If I'm not mistaken, the way the MacBooks detect if its lid is closed is through a small magnet in it. Maybe one the magnet in the other MacBook is causing the top one to sleep?
