Hey just recently i have noticed that my Microsoft messenger icon has dissapeared and been replaced by a big ol' question mark.

It doesn't appear to have affected anything else and i'm not too bothered about it its just a bit of a mystery as to what it means and why it is there!

Thanks for the help!

P.S. The trying to find it thing is just in the background of the image, its not related to the question mark.

The location that MSN Messenger was in may have moved, or been deleted.

On a side note, I had no idea MSN messenger worked with macs...

Ummm well i haven't done anything special, i bought office and got msn messenger with it and it kept asking me to update to microsoft messenger, i did just to get rid of the constant annoying update things and its given me this, i had the icon for a few weeks before it vanished, any idea about getting the icon back?

Yah, use Spotlight to locate it. (It actually should be somewhere in your Apps folder) and then drag the icon to the dock.

MSN Messenger was a big hassle with the updates. The new version is a little better and they fixed that update bug. I don't really see much of a reason to keep it around other then Office integration. It doesn't have the full feature set of Windows or Live Messenger.
