I have never had the need for MyWi untill now, my question is, do I get charges for teathering if I use it? Or does it just use my current data? ( I have unlimited so not worried about it). Would appreciate if someone could just clear this up for me, because I don't want it if I'm gonna get charged extra by AT&T.

No matter what tethering option you use you wont get charged extra.
Thats why we JB and use programs like Mywi. So we dont have to pay anything extra for using our data to tether.
It would be pointless if you still got charged, mind as well get the official tethering then.

but, you do need to pay the $20 for the app

Yes, small price to pay to have unlimited tethering any time you want though.
The dev's creatng those apps would like to get something for the hard work they put into creating quality and usefull programs like Mywi though.

I paid the $20 no problem
I agree its a small price for such an awesome addition

i thought i read they were working on a non Rock version... can anyone verify this? i had 3.x non Rock and i'd really like to upgrade to the 4.0 version, but don't care much for Rock.
