Does anyone know if the option in MyWi for USB and Bluetooth tethering makes e connection any more reliable than just broadcasting the wifi network?

I'm assuming there's more battery drain using it. If you check the option to enable it does it not broadcast the wifi hotspot signal?

Thanks for your help.

I do have mywi 4.0 but where can i find the bluetooth tethering? i only see the USB tethering!

ok, ever since installing mywi and using it for USB tethering, I've gotten a kernel panic on my macbookpro i7 after about 15 minutes or so almost ever time. What gives?

MyWi will not shut down????

Anybody else have a challenge with getting MiWi to shut down? I think I have an older version...at least I seem to recall something about a new version coming out...but there was a cost to upgrade and the feature it stated was not something I needed...unless it fixes this issue also. It starts up fine and run great. But, when I try to shut it down, it keeps running.

Thanks for any feedback!!

Is there a way to get an SBSettings toggle & turn it off that way?

You know, I just found that a little bit ago. It has a button called processes...I'll bet it would have listed it. Also, it has an easier restart button that I am glad to have found.

Thanks!
