MyWI app not working.....

I installed this app and the problem I am having is that everytime I try to turn on the wifi tathering option it brings the phone to edge and doesn't turn "on" at all and go back to "off" position.

I have tried everything I knew now need your help

Running it on iphone 3g , 3.0

Restart the iphone, make sure that wifi is enabled in the settings.
Remove and reinstall mywi.
