MyWi hangs on "Checking for Licenses"

On iPhone 4 running 4.0.1. When I open MyWi, it throws up the "Checking for Licenses" screen and runs and runs but never does anything. If the phone goes to sleep, I can get in when I unlock it again and mess around with settings, but when I try to turn on tethering, it crashes.

Any help?
