MyWi + iPad Question

I currently have a jailbroken 2G iPhone, running on version 3.0 and T-Mobile.

I've been told that MyWi does not run with a 2G iPhone, but my best friend managed to get MyWi on his 2G iPhone, and we were able to tether it to my 32 GB WiFi iPad with no problems.


If anyone could please instruct me on how to install MyWi on my iPhone and set it up with my iPad, I would be really grateful. I'm not even sure if I have added the correct respositories to Cydia.
