MyWi killed my WiFi icon.

I notice when MyWi is turned on, the WiFi icon does not show. I won't come back even after MyWi is turned off. I have to reboot the iPhone.

you know the icon only appears when you're connected to a wifi network right?

when you run mywi it disconnects from whatever network you were on to start an ad-hoc network, hence the icon disappearing.

I have mywi running on a 3GS, an iPhone 4, and an iPad and then icon always comes back after quitting mywi and connecting to a new network.

After MyWi shuts down and I reconnect to WiFi network, the icon doesn't come back. I can get on the web so it's working, just no icon.

No, I am not running a pirated version. I don't steal nor like people who steals.

Try reinstalling Mywi.
It works fine here.
