Figured I'd post this in here since it involves a jailbreak feature. I'm stuck at a military post in Utah for 6 weeks and forgot to load up a few movies to watch, only have one right now. The wifi here sucks and I get booted off frequently and my iPhone 3G is faster than the wifi. I've noticed the 3G speeds are not as fast as I'm used to even though I have full bars mostly.

Decided to tether my iPad using MyWi and buy a movie from iTunes (Social Network in HD) It was taking quite a while obviously, had gone a maybe 4 hours when it reached 3GB out of 3.6GB. It then gave me an error and "tap to retry", but everytime I do it only starts to download xxx.xx of 6xx.xxkb, and then gives me the error again and "tap to retry".

I don't have access to my main computer back home in Oklahoma. I have tried shutting off and restarting both the iP4 and the iPad but to no success, just repeats the error. Short of me driving off post to a wifi hotspot, is there any possible fix to get the download started again? I hate to do it using MyWi because that one movie is basically more data than I generally use in month.

I'm afraid I'll never be able to finish downloading the movie the whole time I'm here. And that makes me a sad panda :(

***EDIT*** called iTunes customer service and they tried to reset the purchase for me, but it was not successfull. I tried to download it again just a few seconds ago and this time it gave me the error of my HD being too full. Sure enough I only 2.5GB left. I didn't check before I started it the first time, but I thought surely it would have warned me before that my capacity was low. I wonder if it's low because of the 3GB it downloaded earlier. Oh well. I'm stuck here for 6 weeks with one movie to watch. I don't think our wifi is good enough for netflix. Never again will I go the cheap route with the smallest capacity.
