I wonder if at&t will start charging customers the tethering fee when using MyWi? Or worse yet, downgrade to the 2 gigabyte plan plus charge customers the tethering fee?

Wirelessly posted (iPhone 3GS (OS4.0b3): Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_1_3 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7E18 Safari/528.16)

I guess you'll just have to wait and see, like everyone else.

If people keep their data usage reasonable, please explain how ATT can tell you are using MyWi.

This may be where the developers of mywi run into trouble. I'm not an expert on this stuff but it installs a file that allows you to tether on 3.1 i'm assuming that to enable that in 4.0 you need to be on the $25 internet plan unless they can somehow bypass that with Mywi
But I guess we'll see when 4.0 comes out
