Hello.

I've heard there's now an application from Cydia called MyWi which is like the HotSpot feature on iOS 4.3 for iPhone 4 only. And i've been wondering: If my friend who has an iPhone 3GS and a 3G Internet connection. Can he turn on the MyWi Application and I can connect to him and to surf on his 3G?
If not, Do you guys know any application which allow that?

Thank you very much.

Yes, that's what MyWi and Tetherme (sp?) are for - just make sure your iOS and iPhone versions are supported by the program (well, your friends).

IIRC, Tetherme is the prefered app
Google is your friend.

Would it of hurt to add "Yes, and " in front of that?

He has iOS 4.1 as I do. And for some reason, I could connect his network but when I went on webs it showed me the Safari error of no connection or something like that.

Just say no to mywi.

Tetherme enables the hotspot feature natively and for 1/4 the price.

He is looking for wifi tethering on a pre-iphone4. Native support is for BT and USB on these devices.

@BlindSoul - best not to admit that you're pirating apps around here... especially if you're look for help with issues.
