Whats ironic is that the reason he did it was because they were talking about how stupid people have to be to have workplace accidents.

A pair of pliars... hahahahahahahahahaha, that sounds like something my uncle would do... he's taken his own teeth out with a pair of pliars and a case of beer a couple of times. gives me the willies just thinking about it!
 
And that was a runner up for a Darmwin Award. He won't make it to the finals because he's still alive. Lucky for him, the brain can't feel pain.
 
If he was foolish enough to point a nailgun to his head as a joke, they shoulda let him use the pliers to take it out himself. :eek: ;)
 
As he said himself "it was stupid." He was very lucky indeed. This is not the first time that I've seen this happen.

You are correct srobert the brain doesn't feel pain. It's the cranium itself and the periosteum in particular that causes great pain.

I guess a nail through the head didn't change Shorten's normal mental capacity any, huh? Pliers? sheesh. :rolleyes:
