I don't like cases. The iPhone is a beautiful device, feels great in my hand, and I never had a case on my iPhone 4, or 5. On my iPhone 4 though, eventually I got enough very small scratches on the back, and on the camera lens, that the camera became useless. No big deal, took it into an Apple store, and for 30 bucks they replaced the back of the phone, which made the lens like new.

But the iPhone 5 has the unibody design, so if my lens became scratched, I'm sure it is a lot more to get that sort of thing fixed. Do I need to worry about tiny scratches that will eventually make my camera useless? I'd hate to cover up Jony Ive's work with an ugly case, but I also can't afford an expensive repair down the road. Thoughts?
