I registered with this site just to find out the name of an old Mac/Apple adventure game I used to play.

I was a kid, so it was in the mid-late 90s.

My daycare had a Mac, not an old 2e one. But the classic OS similar to Windows.

Anyway, it was a side-scrolling adventure game, it wasn't kiddy or anything either. It was fantasy, but it was adultlike. You were this guy who wore these purple and green clothes, and you lived in like a treehouse or something.

You get called out of your regular life to do something, gah, I can't remember what. But you walked around this land and you would talk to people, but there was no voice-over, I remember laughing at how the characters mouth would move up and down similar to how South Park looks.

Jewels and gems were a big part of this too, you would gather amethysts and emeralds but I can't remember for what reason.

I also recall getting gobbled up by a frog-thing while going over a small footbridge. In addition, I can remember some quite spooky midi music.

It was from a horizontal perspective, and I believe you used the arrow keys, though it could have been a point and click.

Please, does anyone know the name of this? It's a very cherished memory from my childhood and I would love to at least know the name so I can Google it.

Thanks!

Also, I don't know if they bought the game or not. It might have come stock with the operating system. Though I could be wrong.

I remember them having a game called Pillbox which I believe was a reincarnation of Bolo.

OH MY GOD THAT'S IT! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! MMMWHAA!:D:D

I didn't know it was a PC game, though.

Thanks so much!
