Hi,

Why can't I get Safari to keep the name and password for Macrumors. Seems kind of funny since this forum is about Macs. I have Intego Netbarrier x4 is that stopping it from working?

Thanks
Damon

It's not to do with the forum, it is do with the way Safari is set up on your Mac.

If you are using 'Private Browsing' in the Safari menu, that might stop your browser from remembering passwords.

Private Browsing is off. Does your auto fill work for name & password on MacRumors?

Yes, perhaps you could click "edit..." and check if you have selected "never" for macrumors accidentally in the past, and thus why it's not remembering, if that's the case then you can remove that item from the list and it'll ask you next time you sign on if you'd like it to remember the password.

still not working

Hi, checked, Safari>preferences>autofill>names & passwords Macrumors is not in there, also checked other and not in there also. Anybody have any ideas?

Thanks
