Is it just me or does it seem like the macbook and macbook air have swapped names? It used to be that the macbook was your everyday, low end, versatile, mac. While the air was less powerful, had less ports, was more specialist, i.e. for people who wanted the lightest mac you could buy. They've swapped roles, do you think that in the near future that Apple may swap the names again?

I see the Air eventually being killed off, and this MacBook line is the future.

I believe they completely rethought the Macbook Air and introduced it as an entirely new Macbook.

Eventually, we will see the Air disappear into thin... air
