I remember using macs in school, and one of the startup sounds stuck with me. The notes are F,G,C,C1. Does anyone remember what mac made that startup sound?

No, I looked at those before with Mactracker. I remember it was in the Classic OS days, back when At Ease was popular.

It was system 8 or 9 I think. The computers booted properly and had a happy mac face. The final note was an "ah" sound, whereas the preceding notes were sort of an "oh" sound.

ROFL

I had to ask my gf who is hardcore into music and she dug out her keyboard and started playing the chords.

It sounded familiar until we finally found out that sound.
