NameDrop is an absolute disaster!

Running iOS 17 and neither me or my family can get this feature working. Everything is enabled including "Name and Photo Sharing" on our contact cards yet the feature just doesn't work. Many people online complaining about this issue. Apple have really dropped the ball here. Attached is the issue we see.

And here I thought NameDrop was not available until the next dot version release. A quick Google tells me that it's available on certain iPhones and will come to Apple Watch later.
