Have you named your MacBook Pro? I know there are alot of peaple out there that do.

I named my iMac Lisa. I'm still thinking about a name for my new MBP.

I named mine (technically my daughter's) MBP General McArthur (after I learned it landed in Incheon, Korea, on the way here).

I haven't ever labeled my computer anything other than the model of the computer itself. Maybe I will try something different when my MBP arrives

Well, I am waiting for my MBP to arrive.

But I have named my previous computers:

Toshiba: Irulan
Sony Vaio: Anirul
Ibook 14": Gaius Helen Mohiam
Current Powerbook 12": Gaius Helen Mohiam II (very creative)

These are all names from the Dune novels.

My MBP will be called "OddBook" once it arrives. The apple logo will be tinted black.

Techguy172, Mines is not a word, unless you have two of them or your digging for gold in one ;)

A few possibilities:

Eve (from applegeeks.com) - Eve was built from a PowerMac, so I may save this name in case I get a Mac Pro in the future.

Ping (from MegaTokyo.com) - Hmmm. Ping is actually a Sony product. Oh well.

Neko-chan (from Under Power) - A feisty cat/girl/robot. Maybe, but I don't want my MBP digging its claws in me.

Can you tell I read webcomics?

I always name my macs with Final Fantasy names (so nerdy, I know). Off the top of my head, I can remember using nibelheim, midgar, ivalice, Spira (my wireless network, with base station Zanarkand), besaid, rabanastre, and bhujerba. Some of those are just from VMWare linux VMs and disk names, as I haven't owned *that* many macs, heh.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, I rest my case ;)

I work with computers for a living and teach basic IT skills at a college in the UK,i use this site alot because it benifits me,and i can show people( alot of them have slight learning disabilities ) how to use
the internet & sites that have forums.

So your case ladies and gentlemen of the jury is open again
