iPod Nano 5g outer case replacement

Does anyone know if Apple would replace the outer case on an iPod Nano 5g just for esthetic purposes? And if so, a rough idea of cost.

Im not 100% but I would probably say that buying a new/refurbished iPod nano would be cheaper but then I'm not even sure apple will replace the outside casing. I would go and get a genius appointment and they will tell you all your options. I hope this helps
