iPod Nano as a Storage Device

I am going to purchase my first iPod and find myself drawn to the Nano for the size and flash memory. I would like to work out with it so having no moving parts seems like a good idea. The one feature I like on the 5G is the ability to buy an accessory to load pictures from the memory card on my camera. This would be valuable on family trips. Is there a device like this for the nano or am I going to need to step up to the 5G? Thanks.
