iPod Nano only works with one USB port

I have a 8GB nano, and when i plug it into my macbook to sync it up, it wont work with the first USB port (the one toward the back) It only works on the port toward the front! It will be recognized by the finder on the back port, but it wont be pulled up into itunes. so it wont sync,
I know its not the port, because i have a ton of things that i plug in that port, and it never has any problems!

Its not a big deal, but its kind of annoying, anyone have any ideas?

That's pretty darn odd. Does anything else work in the back port? How about the nano in other ports on other computers?

Yeah I have had a mouse and keyboard in them, and both work fine!

I worked in other ports on my previous mac, but i havnt tried it since i moved all my music to my macbook!
