Hey I am an avid nano user and I am just wondering if there is any information out there regarding this editor. More specifically I am looking for more commands that might be available (e.g. delete word in front of the cursor) and I am also looking for some information on the syntax used in the .nanorc files that control syntax highlighting. If delete word isn't available how hard would this be to add to nano?

Anyone know anything about this?

Good call. My next question is how do I get 2.2 running on my Mac? I have downloaded, configured, and installed 2.2 but I'm unclear how to now set it as the default nano to open.

Ah, I actually got this one for anyone else out there who might be interested. By default the install puts all of the nano files in /usr/local/ but the Mac OS is looking for this in /usr/share/

Hope someone else uses this...
