After I updated iTunes today, my 2gen nano has yet to show up on itunes nor the computer. I've unplugged and reconnected several times (kinda getting scared about disconnecting without ejecting, but there is nothing to reject) and the computer fails to find the nano each time.

I have a g4 powerbook...

is there something else I can do to make my ipod appear? I've also restarted the ipod several times as well, the menu and center button...

hellllp!

Have you tried more than one USB port? Does it show up in Disk Utility? Have you restarted your PowerBook?

Does not show up on Utility, used a USB, tried Firewire and got "firewire connections are not supported. To transfer songs, connect the USB cable provided" and I've restarted.

What to do, what to do?

this nano is only a week old!!!!! whyyyy?

Does the iPod charge while it's connected via USB? (maybe bad cable if it doesn't)

I just used it not more than a few hours ago... but the ipod is fully charged so i can't tell if its charging.

EDIT: just used another USB cord, it still doesn't work.
