NAS and Mac Mini as iTunes Server

I'm thinking of using a Synology DiskStation and a Mac Mini as an iTunes server.

If I set this up, I'm assuming every AppleTV in my house can stream from it. Will the Mac Mini automatically download movies/TV shows that my wife and I buy on our own computers, iPads, etc? That's what I would like to occur, but we have two different iTunes accounts. I'm not sure if you can set it up to automatically download from two accounts.

Not sure how the Synology NAS fits into iTunes when you have a mini. The mini can serve all your apple devices, and will do it much better than the NAS. You don't need anything else.

I believe there is a "family" or Group" option now for iTunes to share purchases.

The NAS is just for storage (16TB).

The family option doesn't automatically download purchases IIRC.

So the NAS is library storage, and you are streaming Apple TV from a shared library on one or the other Mac?
