So I got my first Mac today (RMBP), and I'm trying to connect to my ReadyNAS, where all my media, docs, etc. are stored.

I enabled the NAS for Time Machine, and I got it to backup without a problem.

But when I go into Finder, under shared on the left, I see my NAS listed, but when I click on it, it is unable to connect. When I try clicking the button for Connection Settings, nothing pops up.

I'm able to connect if I do a smb://NAS/<share> but I still can't just click on my NAS in finder and see all my shares.

Any idea what I need to do?

Thanks!
