NAS Drive - Confused

Hello,

I'm after a NAS which I can use as as time machine backup point but also store data i/e. music / movies

If I plug it into my router I want to be able to get access to it via wireless.

Any recommendations?

There's a lot of reviews and advice at SmallNetBuilder.

Most of the newer NAS drives work with Time Machine and can be used as media servers.

I'm using one of these with both my Macs and 3 PC's. It works great wirelessly, assuming you have it connected to a wireless router.

I do have movies and my iTunes library on it so I can access them from any computer in the house.

very happy with my Synology NAS, best function is the BT torrent manager that allows direct download without the computer on. runs very silent and has been reliable for the 6-8 months i have had it. Definitely a recommend buy!
