I bought a La Cie EdMini NAS hard drive a few weeks ago and have yet to get it to work. Their tech support isn't sure what's wrong either...here's the problem:
The hard drive is plugged into my dlink router (model vwr) and I'm connected to the router wirelessly. Sadly, no dice! I can find the drive, and mount it. But as soon as I try and copy anything to it, it disconnects.
Here's the weird part:
If I connect to the router via ethernet, it works just fine. The drive mounts and I can transfer files to my hearts desire.
Any thoughts? I've tried turning off the firewall on the router. My computer doesn't have the firewall enabled. Why would it work via ethernet but not via wifi?
Thanks for your help!
