NAS in Mixed PC/Mac Network

I have multiple PCs and one Mac on my home network and I am looking for an efficient backup solution to replace my current scheme of backing each computer up on individual hard drives. I am looking at the Seagate NAS110 and have a very newbie question. Can this product backup/restore to both PCs and Macs on the same network or do the different file systems on the clients (NTFS and Mac OS Extended Journaled) not permit this?

I would appreciate any comments/experiences from users of this or a comparable product in a mixed PC/Mac environment.
